Getting the Power Switch early can make a Tier 3 Cursed Mode run feel a lot less punishing, especially if you'd rather deal with random gear than carry one of the rougher Wicked Relic downsides. It resets your lethal and tactical equipment at the start of every round, which sounds messy, but it's often more useful than it looks. If the roll is bad, you can fix it at a crafting bench and move on. Before you start, make sure you've got a Combat Axe and a sniper with a proper scope. Don't cheap out on that part. Some of the targets are miles away, and a clean sight picture matters. Survive the trap trial
Inside the trial, don't expect your guns to carry you. Zombies spawn in three waves, with Acid and Frost enemies mixed in, and regular weapon damage won't help. The only reliable way to clear it is with the Flammenfalle Traps. Bring around 10,000 Essence before stepping in, because you won't be making much back while the challenge is active. Beacon Island is usually the easiest place to manage the waves. Turn the trap on, kite the horde through the flames, and keep your route clean. If things get ugly, Aether Shroud can save the run. The hard part isn't damage, it's patience. You'll spend a lot of time waiting for trap cooldowns, then pulling the next group into position without getting clipped. Stay calm, finish all three waves, and the Power Switch is yours.

The nice thing about Power Switch is that it gives you flexibility without asking for a brutal trade. In a mode built around awkward choices, that's a big deal.
