I logged into the Season 12 PTR expecting the Paladin to get flattened, because that's usually how these things go. Instead, it feels like Blizzard actually watched how people play. You're going to be chugging more, kiting more, and occasionally wondering why you're the one dying in a trash pack. The Judgment rework also makes the build feel more hands-on. Having to apply Judgment yourself instead of letting the spears handle it adds a bit of friction, and that clunk can matter more than the raw damage if you're doing long sessions.
Other Winners, and the New Chase
Outside the Paladin, Barbs look like they're eating first: Warbringer handing out 45x damage while fortified is the kind of multiplier that changes what "safe" aggression looks like. Necros get a real quality-of-life win too, with Flesh Eater triggering off a single corpse, which makes boss loops less fiddly. Druids keep their endgame bite thanks to Thundershock buffs, while Rogues and Sorcs got boosts that feel steadier than flashy. And those Bloodied Weapons? Total RNG chaos, because you can't reroll the killstreak modifiers, so the perfect drop becomes a legit chase.
