How to Spawn a Zursa in Black Ops 7

We’ve all been absolutely hammering Black Ops 7 since it dropped, haven't we? If you are anything like me, you have probably developed a bit of a love-hate relationship with the new Ashes of the Damned map. It has that classic eerie vibe we all miss, but the Elite Enemies aren't messing around this year. I’m talking specifically about the Zursa. That massive zombie bear is nightmare fuel. Usually, the game makes you wait until Round 16 to face it, which is a pain if you are trying to speedrun. Honestly, sometimes I just want to hop into a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby to test things out without the stress, but if you are in a real match, waiting around is a drag. If you want to get your hands on the quest item early, you don't have to wait that long.
The Essential Gear You Need
Luckily, I found out you don’t actually have to wait until the mid-rounds. There is a cheeky little Easter Egg involving some hidden skulls that forces the big guy to spawn whenever you want. It is a total game-changer for pacing. Before you go running off to the Zarya Cosmodrome, though, there is one major catch you need to know. You can’t just use any old loadout weapon for this step. You absolutely need the Necrofluid Gauntlet. Yeah, I know, getting the Wonder Weapon can be a bit of an RNG pain sometimes, but it is the key to the lock here. Once you have secured that otherworldly piece of gear, head straight to the Cosmodrome area and get ready to hunt.
Hunting Down the Skulls
You are looking for three specific skulls scattered around the map. The order you shoot them in doesn’t matter, which is nice, but you have to shoot them with the Gauntlet until their eyes glow a creepy bright green. If they don’t glow, you missed or didn’t hit it right. The first one is kind of easy to miss if you aren't looking down. Go to the center of the Cosmodrome, find the top of the ramp, and look East. There is a hole at the base of the wall where the skull is just sitting there, waiting to be blasted. For the second one, you will need to do a bit of movement. Head to the southeast corner and take the zipline down. Don’t run off yet; turn around and look out the Zombie spawn window right there. You have to crane your neck up and to the right to spot the skull resting on a metal beam. It is tricky to spot in the dark, so squint if you have to.
Triggering the Beast
The last one is arguably the sneakiest of the bunch. Find the Wallbuy in the area and check the metal beam directly behind it. The devs really tried to tuck that one away to mess with us. Once you have tagged all three and got those green eyes glowing, brace yourself. A Zursa with purple eyes is going to spawn immediately. It isn't stronger than the normal ones, but it is still a bear, so don’t get cocky. Drop him, grab your item, and you are one step closer to beating the Easter Egg way before Round 16. Just remember, you can only do this once per match, so make it count!
Why Speed Matters
Using this trick completely changes how you approach the early game. Instead of mindlessly killing zombies for twenty minutes, you can get the hard part out of the way immediately. It is perfect for solo players who just want to get the Main Quest done without the rounds ramping up too high.
