Architect's Plans is a careful turning point in Grand Theft Auto V, not a loud shootout but a test of patience and timing. Franklin Clinton has to obtain the FIB Headquarters blueprints before the Bureau Raid can move ahead, making this the 56th main story mission. Following the Architect
Franklin reaches the Mile High Club construction site in Downtown Los Santos, where Chip Peterson is carrying the plans. A worker throws him a yellow hard hat, giving him a believable reason to move around the site. From there, the job is mostly about keeping close without looking eager. Peterson crosses the lower floors, then takes a construction lift towards the top. Franklin uses the neighbouring lift and waits while the architect chats with other workers. It is tempting to strike early, but that usually makes the exit harder.
The Briefcase and the Fast Exit
Once Peterson wanders into a quieter part of the building, Franklin can knock him down with a quick melee attack and take the briefcase. The timing matters here. The gold medal condition called "Quick Getaway" gives you only 45 seconds to leave the site, so do not pause to admire the view or search for trouble. Grab the plans, head down, and get into the red Übermacht Zion Cabrio. A clean route through Los Santos will take Franklin to the Darnell Bros garment factory.
What Lester Puts on the Table
At the factory, Michael and Lester study the stolen drawings. Lester offers two ways into the FIB building, and each one suits a different kind of player. The Fire Crew plan has Michael enter at night as a janitor, place incendiaries, and create a fake emergency. The team then arrives dressed as firefighters and takes the containment drive during the confusion. Roof Entry is more aggressive. The crew lands by helicopter, breaks into the server room, and deals with heavy resistance on the way out.
• Fire Crew needs a fire truck and a getaway vehicle.
• Paige Harris handles the computer role for a 15 percent share.
• Hugh Welsh joins as gunman at 7 percent, while Eddie Toh drives for 14 percent.
Choosing the Team
The Fire Crew route asks you to pick support carefully. Paige Harris costs more, but her technical ability makes the digital work less stressful. Hugh Welsh brings a modest demand and covers the armed response. Eddie Toh takes the wheel, offering the calm driving needed after the building is cleared. Once these choices are locked in, the setup has a clear direction.
