Physical measurements now have a stronger impact on attributes. Weight and wingspan can significantly affect perimeter defense and driving dunk, especially for smaller guards and wings. Larger players around 6'10" and above can see different effects from weight changes.

Badge Tokens and Requirements

Cap Breakers remain important for long-term progression, but their potential cannot be fully viewed until a build reaches 99 overall. Importantly, Cap Breakers do not provide additional Badge Tokens, so your original attribute allocation still matters.
NBA 2K27 also introduces Bonus Tokens and Bonus Slots. Bonus Tokens can help redistribute badge strength, while Bonus Slots provide additional spaces for equipping badges.
Fuse and Reaction Badges
Fuse and Reaction Badges add another layer of strategy. Fuse Badge Slots can temporarily boost eligible badges, potentially pushing them toward Legend levels. Reaction Badges activate after their connected Fuse Badge is triggered enough times during a game.
Players should therefore choose combinations that naturally match their playstyle. A center who frequently sets screens, for example, could benefit from pairing screen-related Fuse and Reaction Badges.
